These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the Kaption website and any purchases made through it. By using our site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Kaption

Kaption is an online store selling embroidered caps, including custom text and bulk/custom orders.

2. Ordering & acceptance

  • Orders are confirmed once payment is received (or otherwise confirmed by us).
  • We may decline or cancel an order if stock is unavailable, pricing is incorrect, or we suspect fraud. If cancelled after payment, we will refund you.

3. Product information

We aim to display products accurately, but:

  • Colours may vary due to screen settings and lighting.
  • Embroidery is a handmade/production process; minor variations in placement, thread tone, and stitch density are normal and not defects.

4. Custom/personalised items

For customised items (including your chosen text):

  • You are responsible for confirming spelling, punctuation, and chosen options before checkout.
  • Once production starts, changes may not be possible.
  • Custom items may have different lead times.
  • Custom items are generally not refundable unless faulty/defective (see Returns Policy).

5. Pricing

  • Prices are shown in ZAR unless stated otherwise.
  • Prices may change without notice, but the price at checkout applies to your order.
  • Where VAT applies, it will be shown at checkout or on your invoice.

6. Payment

We accept payment methods shown at checkout via our payment providers. We do not store full card details on our servers.

7. Shipping & delivery

  • Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by courier delays, peak periods, or unforeseen events.
  • Risk in goods passes to you upon delivery to the provided address.
  • Please ensure shipping details are correct; re-delivery costs may apply.

8. Returns & refunds

Returns are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy.

9. Promotions & gift cards (if applicable)

  • Promotions may be limited in time and stock.
  • Discount codes cannot usually be combined unless stated.
  • Gift cards/vouchers (if offered) are subject to any expiry and usage rules displayed at purchase.

10. Intellectual property

All website content, designs, product photos, and branding belong to Kaption or its licensors. You may not copy or reproduce without permission.

11. User submissions (custom text / designs)

If you submit text or artwork for embroidery:

  • You confirm you have the right to use it and it doesn’t infringe others’ rights.
  • You agree not to submit unlawful, hateful, or offensive content.
  • We may refuse any request at our discretion.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, Kaption is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our liability for any claim related to your order is limited to the amount you paid for the product(s) in question, except where law does not allow such limitation.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

We may restrict access if misuse is suspected.

Payments processed via Yoco Payments, we don’t store card details.
